THREE CLUBS IN THE DOLDRUMS!!

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: A cautious red light has flickered on Sub District 411B and the District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo has shown a serious concern about its repercussion.

The warning red light is about the financial mismanagement of three clubs, two in Uganda and one in Tanzania. All the three clubs, names with-held due to one reason or the other, have been placed under suspension for non-compliance of full payment of International Dues before the deadline.
District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo communicating with Cabinet and Club Leaders calling for urgent consorted meetings to sort out financial mismanagement of three Lions clubs likely to be cancelled if International Dues are not finalised before end of next month (June 2014).

Governor Wilson Ndesanjo said with a serious tone that after 29th June, these clubs, if complete dues are not cleared, might be cancelled from the list of 43 club under Sub District 411B. The latest figure of total members as in accordance with the Lions Clubs International Health Assessment Report is 1,225 members in 43 clubs.

During the current Lionistic Year, nearly 300 new members were inducted in Tanzania and Uganda but with a sad tone, 165 members were dropped for one reason or the other. Efforts are being made to get more Quality Members before the end of the next month but the clubs in the doldrums are likely to cause an up-set in the District Governor's Goals of going beyond 1,250 members in the sub district 411B.

"As a matter of urgency, concerned club leaders, Region Chairpersons and Zone Chairpersons in their respective areas are being contacted to call urgent meetings to take consorted actions for a positive result," Governor Lion Wilson Ndesanjo told the writer of this story.
