CONGRATULATIONS!

The Lions in Uganda were warmly congratulated for chartering two new clubs and also for inducting eleven new members separately. The glorious words of 'hongera' (Kiswahili word for congrats) was voiced by PDG/PMCC Lion Abdul Majid Khan when he was assessing the current status of District 411B.

The two new clubs in Uganda are Lions Club of Gulu Metropolitan and Lions Club of Mpondwe-Lhubira.

The Past Governor also congratulated the club leaders of Lions Club of Kilimanjaro New Century and Lions Club of Busia Greater which were revived and are now out of danger zone of Status Quo. The two other clubs which are in the danger zone facing Status Quo are Lions Club of New Century and Lions Club of Busia Greater.

The statistics of total members as at end of June in District 411B is still far from the required figure of 1250. The latest total is only 1098 under total clubs of 40 in Tanzania and Uganda.

Time and again, Lion Khan has been seriously reminding club leaders to work hard in bringing in new quality members.

District Governor Lion Willy Ndesanjo's district goal includes bringing into the den at least five new members per club and a minimum of two new clubs in Tanzania and Uganda.
