LIONS RESPONDED QUICKLY DURING WESTGATE ATTACK

NAIROBI: When the Al Shabab militant group attacked innocent civilians at the Westgate Shopping Centre, the first casualties were treated at the nearby M.P. Shah Hospital where a good number of Lions Members volunteered to help.

According to the Chairman of the hospital, Past International Director Lion Dr. Manoj Shah, the first few hours were quite challenging but they along with more volunteers joined in to work hand in hand. More doctors, nurses and volunteers came to assist. We managed to get some pictures from Nairobi and these are reproduced hereunder.
