TREE PLANTING IN KABALE

KABALE, UGANDA: The tree planting project in Kabale, Uganda continues after planting 470 trees by Lions Club of Kabale.

The Secretary of the club, Lion John Semumba said that the trees were planted at the University of Kabale with several purposes including providing source of shade during sunny days and fruits to the residents at the institute. The total target is 1400 trees and so far 1070 have already been planted.

The District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo and the First Lady of the District 411B, Florense during their club visitations in Uganda had also participated in the tree-planting-project at Kabale.
KABALE: The changing scenario at Kabale University.....Lions Club of Kabale have already planted 1070 trees and during the third phase of the project, the Lions will plant the balance of 330 trees. The trees include fruit trees as well. (Foto by Club Secretary John Semumba).
