LIONS' INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT ARRIVES IN NAIROBI

PAST INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR DR. MANOJ SHAH RELEASED THE DRAFT PROGRAMME FOR THE INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT DR. JITSUHIRO YAMADA WHO ARRIVES AT THE JKIA ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON.


INTERNATIONAL PRESIDENT VISITS KENYA

International President of Lions Clubs International Dr. Jitsuhiro Yamada will be in Kenya for four days and one of his main itinerary  will be courtesy visit to His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Kenya, Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta.

A warm welcome and a banquet in his honour has already been planned according to the programme released by PID, GMT Dr. Manoj Shah.

The International President arrives at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport on Saturday afternoon and will be welcomed by top brass senior Lions of  Multiple District 411, including Multiple Council Chairperson PDG Lion Wilson Ndesanjo, the two District Governors of 411A and 411B. 

Sunday appears to be a hectic day with many projects to attend to including visiting the LEO conference and planting symbolic tree seedlings and presentation of wheel chairs. Later in the evening a grand banquet has been organized in honour of Dr. Jitsuhiro Yamada.

On Monday the International President will visit the world famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve and later in the afternoon will go through the forest to see the “real Lions”. He will spend the night at the world famous “Luxury Mara Serena Lodge”

On Tue3sday after meeting the President of Kenya, Hon. Uhuru Kenyatta, he will visit the United Nations Head Office in Africa. He will pay a courtesy call on the Head of UN and UNEP Dr. Steiner. 

His trip in Kenya concludes a few hours before Tuesday midnight.

Multiple Council Chairperson Lion Wilson Nathaniel Ndesanjo will be among the top Lions to welcome International President Dr. Jitsuhiro Yamada at the JKIA, Nairobi on Saturday afternoon.

District Governor 411B Lion Haiderali Gangji expects to be one of the top dignitaries to welcome the International President at the JKIA at Nairobi on Saturday.
