INSTALLATION MZIZIMA LEADERS IN ZANZIBAR

The installation ceremony of new leaders for Lions Club of Mzizima was held on the spice island, Zanzibar where 75 members and guests attended the ceremony. The Chief Guest was Past District Governor and Immediate Past Multiple Council Chairman, Lion Murtaza Dungarwalla.

The Chief Guest apart from installing the new officers of Mzizima, recognized as one of the most active club in District 411B, also presented his personal laple pins to the members.
The club conducted an Eye Camp in Zanzibar and recorded a total of 842 patients who were checked by Eye Specialists. Ninety eight patients suffering from cataract problems were operated and well looked after by the members and doctors.
Reading glasses and medicines worth TShs. 4,300,000/= were distributed to the patients.

    Entebbe Induction /Installation Dinner


    A grand Installation/ Induction Dinner for the office bearers for the lionistic year 2013 to 2014 took place saturday the 29th June 2013 at Central Inn Entebbe

    Time was 6pm 12 am and Dress code was Formal

    Our Chief Guest was Lion Shem Bageine the Minister of State for East African Community.
    Our Guest of Honour was Honourable David Wakikona the Minister of state for Trade and Cooperatives.

    11 new members were also inducted in front of hundreds of Entebbe residents at the dinner.
