Club Presidents and Secretaries under District 411B in Uganda and Tanzania have been urged to start organizing projects in line with their goals and that of the District Governor and International President.
The Governor's Blog wishes to bring forward to club officers some of the projects which Governor Wilson Ndesanjo wish to elaborate in the absence of his Handbook. There has been a slight delay in the printing process of the Handbook and hence this story to remind what has to be done in the month of July.
*This is your first month as club leaders in your respective clubs.
*Receive the District Governor at Julius Nyerere Airport on Tuesday 23rd July in large numbers and attend the banquet in his honour to be held in Dar es Salaam.
*Motivate club members to attend leadership seminars.
*MMR should be sent on or before 20th July ready for posting with the minutes of the Board. This to be a regular practice throughout the year on the 20th day of each month.
*Order Peace Poster kits and involve a minimum of three schools.
*Plan for Mega fund raising activities.
*Mark the date for leadership and orientation seminars and attend them.
*Prepare well in advance for you District Governor's official visit.
*Prepare your activities and administration budget and send to the Governor and Cabinet Treasurer.
As soon as you (Presidents/Secretaries) receive the Handbook treat it more as a Guideline Book by following all the important issues raised there in.
