Bagamoyo, Tanzania: Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Mzizima which was recognized as the Best Club in the Sub District 411B this year, held the Installation Ceremony for the incoming club leaders for the fiscal Lion's Year 2014/2015. Lion Mushtak Waliji takes over the responsibility of running the club as President from the hard-working veteran Lion Mustafa Kudrati.
The Installing Officer and Chief Guest, Vice District Governor Lion Haiderali Gangji handed over the authoritative "hammer and bell" from the outgoing President to the incoming leader of the club. Other club officials were also installed by the Chief Guest in the usual traditional style of Lionism.
Lions Club of Mzizima deserves to be accorded superlative words of praises and laurels as well for being named as the Best Club among 43 clubs in Tanzania & Uganda; awarded Appreciation Certificates of International President; Best Sight Conservation Project, Best Fund Raising Club and Best Club for establishing E-Club House.
More information: Two prominent Lion Members of the club, Jayesh Raichura and Nitin Desai received an ovation from the Attendees at the beach-side Installation Ceremony for donating in two equal amounts a total TShs. 20,000,000/=. The donated amount will be used for Sight Projects.
Other added news: Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Pwani will hold its Installation Ceremony to be accompanied with oriental dances and music at the New Africa Hotel on 14th June. PDG/MCC Lion Abdul majid Khan will be the Chief Guest and Installing Officer.
Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Host will also be holding a similar function on Friday 20th June at Harbour View Hotel.
