SAFARI TO UGANDA

Multiple Council Chairman Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo was given a rousing welcome at the northern town of Yumbe in Uganda where he conducted the joint installation and induction of club officials of Lions Clubs Yumbe, Arua and Gulu.

Although it was almost nine hours of driving from Kampala to this northern town, the Lions and members of the public appeared to be very enthusiasts  throughout the ceremony which preceded with a procession accompanied by drummers. The entire ceremony from morning to late night was reported to be enjoyed by all the lions and the newly inducted six.

The programme also included leadership training conducted by Geofrey Mwesigwa. Participants learnt about leadership in Lionism, on line reporting and financial reporting and writing and networking through twinning.

Two wheel chairs were presented to two disabled persons by MCC Lion Wilson Ndesanjo.

After the formal ceremonies, dinner and dance were organized for all the Lions, invited guests and the new members.
