LIONS QUEST WORKSHOP IN ZANZIBAR

Zanzibar: The second Lions Quest Workshop in Zanzibar  attended by 30 primary and secondary school teachers was well conducted and accomplished.

The workshop was conducted by trained Tutors, officially supervised by Coordinator of the programme in Tanzania, PDG/PMCC Lion Abdul Majid Khan and Secretary of L.Q. Workshops Lion NMohammed Mulla. The workshop was held for three days from 29th July to 31st July.  The first workshop with almost similar attendance and intake of 30 teachers was conducted in July 2013.

The next workshop will be held in Arusha on 17th September to be followed by one in Mbeya on 19th November and the last one in dar es salaam on 26th November. This will be the entire programmes' accomplishment in Tanzania so far.

The final results indicates an impressive accomplishment in which, notable figures are: Teachers trained 780; Schools involved 393; Students directly benefited 157,200. The actual figure of students benefiting from the conduct of Lions Quest is much more than that because teachers and Lions Clubs carry forward the advises and instructions of LQ as and when opportunity arise.
