DAR ES SALAAM: Seven Fraternity Lions clubs in Dar es Salaam attended the PST Training workshop conducted by District Officer Lion Zahira Patwa under the umbrella of two Zones. Lion Zahira Patwa was described as a "Stalwart Lion" for her initiative and voluntary work and glorious words were attributed to her by District Governor Lion Wilson Ndesanjo.
The Governor said: "I am very pleased for your timely presentation in such a professional style."
He continued, " Orientation, re-orientation and knowledge transfer amongst ourselves will help us a great deal to understand our responsibilities in the quest for efficiency, deliverance of service and our conduct to society."
PDG/PMCC Lion Abdul Majid Khan who is also also handling the portfolio of membership development this year, described Lion Zahira Patwa as a "Stalwart Lion" and praised her for the good job she was doing as a Lion Leader.
Convenor of the Governor's Blog, Lion Salim Suleimanji who was out of the country (in India) for medical reasons of his Spouse Nafisa, praised the district officer for the important workshop conducted by her.
Zone Chairpersons Lion Omari Bakari and Lion Dr. Hussain Hassan conducted the Governor's Advisory meetings in Dar es Salaam recently and assigned DO Lion Zahira Patwa to conduct training sessions for the Presidents, Secretaries and Treasurers (PST). All these officers and others who were connected with these events directly or indirectly, were highly praised by district leaders.
