DAR ES SALAAM: The much awaited Governor's Banquet in honour of the District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo and the First Lady of Sub District 411B, Florense will be held on Sunday, the first day of September at the New Africa Hotel.
The seating arrangements will accomodate 80 to 100 Card Holders in the Crystal Palace of one of the top hotels in Dar es Salaam, the New Africa Hotel. The exciting programme will be decorated with live-music and mouth-watering buffet with veg and non-veg dishes.
Region Chairman Lion Happiness Nkya and his Organizing Committee have been kept busy patching up events for the banquet. The Governor is likely to give his speech which may cover his goals and his efforts to serve as Governor of the district.
The past week has been very busy for the Governor and First Lady when they visited clubs in Uganda as the first lap of official club visitation programme. In six days time after attending the banquet, he will be flying again to Uganda to conduct the First Cabinet Meeting in Kampala on 6th September. The Cabinet Meeting will be preceded by a Leadership Seminar especially tailored for Cabinet and District Officers.
