"FOLLOW THE INTERNATIONAL RULES", CABINET TREASURER

DAR ES SALAAM:  With only a few days to go for the deadline 15th September, all the club treasurers under District 411B are being reminded of paying the International Dues for the First Half before the mid September.

Cabinet Treasurer Lion Mohamed Lalji said, "Club Presidents and Treasurers are reminded to take note of the International Rules on timely payment of dues in order to avoid unnecessary inconveniences. International Dues should be paid as soon as the invoices is received." He added that the 2nd half of the dues should be paid by 31st March 2014.

Failure to adhere to the timely payments, clubs will face financial suspension after a grace period of ninety days and later what will follow will be the unhappy status of "Status Quo".

Also timely payment of District Dues US$ 22.00 per Lion per year and US$ 3 per Lion per year will also earn the club some valuable district contest points. According to the contest rules as announced by the District Office, clubs which will pay International and District dues in full by 30th December 2013, will earn 100 points.

The rules of the district contest also states that clubs will only qualify to receive  the awards if their international and district dues have been fully paid by 31st March 2014.

Lion Mohamed Lalji said that in case if Club Treasurers or Club Presidents want any clarifications, they should immediately contact him or the Sub Treasurers Lion Yusuf Dalal (Tanzania) or Lion David Ochieng (Uganda).
