DAR ES SALAAM: District Governor Lion Wilson Ndesanjo and his gracious Lady, Florense have arrived in Dar es Salaam after seven days of busy schedule of club visitations programme in Uganda. A day later, 2nd Vice District Governor Lion Haiderali Gangji and his gracious Lady, Nimeira arrived after almost sixty six days of medical attention in Mumbai, India.
Both the Governors of District 411B are "back home in Dar es Salaam" ready to continue with their normal day-to-day works.
The much awaited Governor's Banquet which was twice "on-off" will finally take place on Saturday 21st September at Harbour View J.M. Mall. The banquet in honour of the Governor was scheduled to be held immediately after his return from Hamburg, Germany where he along with 752 other Governors Elect were installed as DISTRICT GOVERNORS 2013/2014. Coincidentally, the arrival period was during the time when a good number of members were devoted Muslims observing the Holy Fasting Month of Ramadhan.
Now that the 2nd VDG Lion Haiderali Gangji is also back home, the Governor's Banquet has been fixed on Saturday 21st September.
The undersigned talked to both the Governors upon their arrival at the J.K. Nyerere International Airport on different airlines and on different days.
Governor Lion Haiderali Gangji said he was feeling better but had lost "some weight" during his sixty six days medical observation in Mumbai, India. He did not disclose much details about his treatment and medical examinations in India but said "let me settle down and I will surely give a statement about my health." However, he added by saying a "big thank you" to all those who were concerned about his health and treatment.
Apart from the Gangji family members, the Public Relations Officer of District, Lion Shoffiudin Babul was at the airport to receive Lion Haiderali and Lion Nimeira.
