GOVERNOR'S CLUB VISITATIONS

Moshi, Tanzania: Governor Lion Wilson Ndesanjo and First Lady Florense continued with their hectic programme of visiting Lions Clubs in Kilimanjaro Region, north of Tanzania. Representatives of all the three club in Kilimanjaro and the Governor's entourage paid a courtesy call on the Regional Commissioner, Hon. Lawrence Gama.

The Regional Commissioner congratulated the Lions and said that he was satisfied with the performance of club activities in his region. He assured the Lions of his full cooperation in all the social activities and development projects conducted by the clubs.

Governor Lion Wilson Ndesanjo thanked the Regional Commissioner for accepting to meet the representatives of the club in Kilimanjaro and also assured him of continued cooperation between the Lions Clubs International and his office. He also requested the Regional Boss to consider to encourage new members to join the organization, considered the largest service organization in the world.

He added that during his club visitations to Uganda he officially paid courtesy calls on top Government Leaders who were Lion Members and some Honorary Members.

On Friday last, the Governor's entourage along with members of Lions Club of Kilimanjaro Century visited the school for disabled boys and girls and participated in the donation of school uniform for the pupils. President of the club Lion Kalpit Solani joined hands with the Governor and Lady Florense in distributing the uniforms all costing TShs. 1,100,000/=
