FOOD DISTRIBUTION BY MZIZIMA CLUB

District Officer for Youth Outreach, Campus and Exchange Programme Lion Zahira Patwa (in light red burqa) along with Lions of Dar es Salaam Mzizima distribute food packets to young people in Dar es Salaam recently. The club spent TShs. 450,000/= for lunch for hospital patients and street children as well.

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: Lions Club of Mzizima conducted its long term project "food distribution at Ocean Road Cancer Hospital" and also for some young people who gather at open playing fields for a game of soccer on Sunday. Fifth from left is District Officer for Youth Outreach Lion Zahira Patwa and fifth from right is club secretary Lion Bhavin Sonigra. On the background is Tanzania's largest cancer hospital, a historic building which has witnessed the rule of  German and British colonialists. Immediately after independence, the hospital has undergone extensive internal and external renovation.
