A chain of "get well" messages keep pouring in from Lions as Past District Governor Lion Safderali Jaffer and his son Murtaza Jaffer are recuperating after kidney transplant surgery a week ago in the United States of America.
PDG Lion Safder who was also Past Multiple Council Chairman of District 411 (Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Seychelles) is a veteran Lion and one of the top ranking Lion in Eastern Africa. He is well known for his leadership qualities, soft-spoken but with a great impact to his audience as an orator, his speeches have always been punctuated with words of wisdom and humor. By profession he is an accountant and runs an auditing firm in Dar es Salaam.
Among the numerous "get well messages", prominent Lions include District Governor Wilson Ndesanjo, PDG/PMCC Lion Abdul majid Khan, MCC Lion Poly Ndyarugahi; First Vice District Governor Lion Night Ndyarugahi; 2nd VDG Lion Haider Gangji, PDG Satish Sharma, Cabinet secretary Kishore Simzia, and several presidents and other officers of clubs and District Officers.
It may take some weeks for this great Lion to return to his residential station in Dar es Salaam but all in all, the Governor's Blog team wishes him speedy recovery.
