Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: District Governor Lion Wilson Ndesanjo and First Lady Florense are conveying HAPPY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR 2014 greetings to all Lions and Leos and their family members in Sub District 411B (Tanzania & Uganda). The following message was attached in his greetings:-
"May I at the outset, thank all the members of various clubs in our Sub District with whom I had the opportunity to interact with during the club visitations.
It was a great experience that I will live to cherish forever. May I convey our best wishes to all Lions, Leos and their families for Christmas and Happy & Prosperous New Year 2014."
During a brief telephone conversation with the Governor, he said that he and his family will be going to his birthplace town in Moshi, Kilimanjaro where they will join the rest of the family members on 24th December to celebrate Christmas and the new year.
On 11th January 2014, the Governor and the First Lady will be flying to Uganda to attend the historic Installation and presentation of Charter Document to the new club, Lions Club of Mbarawa Central. This will be counted as second new club chartered in Uganda, much in line with the goals of the Governor for the current Lionistic Year.
The Governor and First Lady are expected to be in Dar es Salaam on 12th January.
The Governor on behalf of the district, has conveyed his "speedy recovery and best wishes" to the Past District Governor and Past Multiple Council Chairman, Lion Safderali Jaffer after a kidney transplant operation in the United States.
