ISAAME FORUM...KATHMANDU

Kathmandu, Nepal: The three-day ISAAME Forum which attracted nearly 2500 Lions Members from 35 countries was officially opened by His Excellency, the President of Nepal, Dr. Ram Yadav at Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal.

From Sub District 411B, a delegation comprising four top personalities District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo, First Lady of the sub district, Florense Ndesanjo, Past District Governor Lion Kamal Joshi, District Officer for legal matters, Lion Jessie Nguto attended the meeting.

The delegation presented a contribution of US$ 2,500:00 for the international fund raising campaign in favour of "Light a House in Nepal", which is to help contributions towards installing solar electric system in houses in Nepal where  there is no electricity. The main purpose is to assist school or college students to continue with their home studies in good lighting conditions and hence promote literacy.
