A LEO CLUB OPENS IN DAR

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: A LEO Club with 27 new members was opened in Dar es Salaam by the Past District Governor Lion Abdul Majid Khan who was also the Chief Guest of the four-fold event organized by Lions Club of Dar es Salaam Pwani.

The club celebrated the Valentine Day, the club's Charter Nite, and induction and installation of the LEO club which  comprises young boys and girls, most of them primary school pupils. The youngsters' club will be under the watchful eyes of the sponsoring club under the President Lion Pushpa Shah.

The LEO Club of Dar es Salaam Pwani will be led by LEO Aliya Qadri, daughter of Pwani Club Secretary Lion Rizwan Qadri and District Officer Lion Sarah Qadri.

The Chief Guest Lion Abdul Majid Khan congratulated the club for the good project accomplished and reminded them of his famous statement; "sow a LEO today and you will reap a Lion tomorrow."

Cabinet Secretary Lion Kishore Simzia was also among the invited guests and also praised the club's leadership for the well-done-job.
