NEW APPOINTMENTS

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: New leadership appointments relevant to the forthcoming 11th Annual Multiple District Convention was announced by District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo.

The Annual Convention will be held at Kisumu, Kenya during the first three days of May this year. Hundreds of Lion Members from five Eastern African countries namely Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and the Seychelles will congregate at the Kenyan town of Kisumu.

The multiple district 411 has two sub districts namely 411B (Tanzania & Uganda) and sub district 411A (Kenya, Ethiopia & the Seychelles) under current  Governors Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo and Lion Teja S. Kalsi. Important agendas like review of the sub districts performance, individual clubs activities, leadership workshop and symposium, grand appreciation awards on individuals  and club performance and the grand fellowship banquet will keep all Lions busy throughout the three days.

The other important agenda will be elections of the next Governors and their deputies in both the sub districts for the Lionistic Year 2014/2015. In order to streamline the conferences and election procedures, the following were appointed by Governor Lion Wilson Ndesanjo to take care of their respective duties.

Credential & Certification Committee: Chairman Lion Hon. Shem Bageine PDG/PMCC. Other members of the committee are Lion Mohammed Lalji CT; Lion Yusuf Dalal Sub Treasurer (TZ); Lion David Ochieng Sub Treasurer (Ug).

Resolution Committee: Chairman Lion Abdul Majid Khan PDG/PMCC. Committee Members Lion Satish Sharma PDG; Lion Wilson Tumwine PDG; Lion Kamal Joshi PDG.

Nomination & Election  Commitee: Chairman Lion Joseph Kiwanuka IPDG and other committee members are Lion Abdul Majid Khan PDG/PMCC; Hon. Lion Shem Bageine PDG/PMCC and Lion Satish Sharma PDG.
