BUSY SCHEDULE FOR LIONS

According to the Hand Book of the District Governor, Lions Clubs in Tanzania and Uganda are expected to be very busy during the month of March, a few days from today.

Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo has drawn attention of the clubs' leaders to organize or attend the Lions Day with the United Nations. Lions Clubs International and the United Nations are partners in the Millenium Development projects and hence activities which are within the millenium development projects should be implemented during March.

The clubs should also organize meetings for the election of office bearers for the Lionistic Year 2014/2015.

The World Women's Day is also being organized in March, throughout the world and  hence clubs should involve as many women as possible  to ensure that activities and social gatherings reflect women participation in serving the people. This will be the right occasion to encourage women to become members of the clubs.

Important note: Secretary should remember to fill in PU 101 forms and send to International Lions Clubs, District Governor';s Office and Vice District Governor's Office (without fail). It is important to enclose photographs of the new leaders.
District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo referring to the Hand Book, has reminded Lions Clubs of the various important activities which need to be concentrated upon next month.

The Governor wishes to remind Lions Members to start preparing for registering in the 9th Multiple District Convention at Kisumu, Kenya.
