District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo on behalf of Sub District 411B (Tanzania and Uganda) has sent condolence message in respect of the demise of the Spiritual Leader of Dawood Bohora Jamaat Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin who died at the age of 102 in Mumbai, India.
The Chairperson of Multiple Council of 411 (Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Seychelles) Lion Polly Karimari Ndyarugahi has also announced his condolence message to the followers of the Spiritual Leader and all those concerned directly or indirectly with this great leader. Many other messages have been received via email from Lions Leaders.
Late Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin died of cardiac arrest as 52nd Dai al Mutlaq of the world-wide Dawoodi Bohora Community from 1965 to 2013. His 70 year old son Syedna Mufaddal Saifiddin has succeeded him as the 53rd Dai al Mutlaq.
The Late Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin was also recognized as Ambassador of peace and goodwill. He was highly respected by world leaders and Governments for his endeavour in promoting international brotherhood and harmony.
Latest information. Thousands of Dawoodi Bohoras from all over India and from around 40 nations are converging in Mumbai to pay their last respects and homage to their beloved leader Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin.
