Dar es salaam, Tanzania: A two-hour meeting of Governor's Council was held in closed doors under the Chairman Past District Governor Lion Satish Sharma. The meeting was also attended by International Director Lion Alexis Vincent Gomes and District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo.
The delegation of Governors from Uganda flew into J.K. Nyerere International Airport in Dar es Salaam and were well in time to attend the Governor's Council meeting at the Hotel Sapphire, a posh three star contemporary hotel situated in the heart of the commercial city. The Uganda delegation includes a Minister responsible for East African Community Affairs Lion Hon. Shem Bageine and the Chairperson of Multiple Council of Multiple District 411 Lion Polly Karimari Ndyarugahi.
All that was discussed in two hours will be condensed as a short report by the Governor's Council and presented at the Second Cabinet Meeting on Saturday morning. The Secretary of the council is Immediate Past District Governor, Lion Joseph Kiwanuka.
Others who also attended the meeting were 1st Vice District Governor Lion Night Ndyarugahi, PDG and PMCC Lion Abdul Majid Khan, Past District Governor Lion Vijay Kotedia, 2nd Vice District Governor Lion Haiderali Gangji.
Later after the meeting, one of the Governors said that it was a successful and useful meeting. The report will be presented at the Cabinet Meeting. The entire team had a fellowship supper later on.
Past District Governor Lion Kamal Joshi tendered his apology and stated that he had gone to Mumbai, India for medical reasons. PDG Lion Yusuf Mushi could not attend due to health reasons and PDG/PMCC Lion Safder Jaffer is away in the United States receiving medical treatment.
