TRAINING TO BRUSH UP LEADERSHIP QUALITY

Past Cabinet Secretary  Lion Inderjeet  Singh Rehal, one of the main organizer of the Leadership Seminar will speak on "Retention Through Effective Meeting Management" at the leadership seminar.

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania: A three-hour intensive lectures on three main topics in connection with Lionism will be held at the Tiffany Hotel on Saturday 1st February in Dar es Salaam. The seminar is open to all Lion Members including those who will be inducted as new Lions.

The Leadership Seminar will be held immediately after the conclusion of the  Second Cabinet meeting of Sub District 411B to be attended by Cabinet and District Officers from Tanzania and Uganda. District Governor Lion Wilson N. Ndesanjo will preside and receive reports for discussions and or adoption to be presented by Region and Zone Chairpersons.

The Chief Guest in the two-day function will be International Director Lion Alexis Vincent Gomes who is expected to arrive from his home country Congo in the shortest hour of the Thursday night.

Lions Members have been reminded by the Cabinet Secretary, Lion Kishore Simzia to send their names for registration by 27th January either to him or Lion Zahira Pattwa. Registration of candidates will start at the hotel's hall at 1.30pm and by 2.30pm lectures will commence.

The three topics to be discussed by the Lecturers are: (a)" Lions Fundamentals" by District Officer Lion Zahira Pattwa who recently graduated from Regional Lions Leadership Institute Seminar held in Nairobi, Kenya. (b) "My LCI Training & Club Reporting" by District Officer Lion Sayed Rizwan Qadri, a Civil Engineer Consultant with a vast knowledge of management of Lionism from club level to district level and International as well. His bio-data indicates that he has attended many national and international workshops and seminars on various subjects. (c) "Retention through effective meeting management" will be delivered by former Cabinet Secretary and a well trained officer on leadership seminars, Lion Inderjeet Singh Rehal more popular under the nick name "Nitu".

Lion "Nitu" is on record for attending many international workshops on Lionism  and has also addressed many seminars as an organizer and lecturer.

District Officer Lion Eng. Sayed Rizwan Qadri will deliver a lecture on "My LCI Training & Club Reporting" at the three-hour seminar on leadership training of Lions.

District Officer Lion Zahira Pattwa will lecture on "Lions Fundamentals".
