Eleven Zone Chairpersons and six Region Chairpersons in Tanzania and Uganda (Sub District 411B) are fully busy holding their respective meetings with lions Clubs as part of preparations for presenting reports at the Second Cabinet Meeting in Dar es Salaam.
The last hour rush has been necessitated to meet the deadline for submission of the club reports which is on 20th January. District Officers, in particular DCs have been urged to submit their reports before the deadline.
Cabinet Officer Lion Kishore Simzia has again urged all the officers to meet the deadline or else come with at least fifty printed copies to the meeting scheduled for 1st January 2014. The Governor's Council will be meeting on 31st January under the chairmanship of PDG Lion Satish Sharma.
One important feature in the Leadership Seminar will be a lecture on Club Excellence Progress to be conducted by an experienced veteran Lion, PDG/PMCC Murtaza Dungarwalla. The main objective of the lecture will be in the form of workshop to promote club status.
The Cabinet Secretary has urged all the Lions, particularly District Officers and club leaders to attend the Leadership Seminar in Dar es Salaam.
