A serious concern has been echoed by Lion Leaders regarding lack of interest shown by Lion Members in Tanzania and Uganda in connection with the three-day seminar organized by Regional Lions Leadership Institute in Nairobi on 25th to 27th October.
The leadership seminar offered by Lions Clubs International offers a variety of leadership development programme especially tailored to develop and enhance the leadership skills of present and future Lions. This is also an ideal forum for sharing ideas, successes and challenges with fellow lions. A total of sixty seats were offered to Multiple District 411 comprising Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia and Seychelles. Equal seats for thirty candidates for both the sub districts "A" and "B".
The latest voice of concern was openly displayed by Multiple Council Chairman, PDG and GLT Coordinator Lion Polly K. Ndyarugahi, District Governor Lion Wilson Ndesanjo (now on tour in Uganda), PMCC/PDG Lion Abdul Majid Khan, 2nd VDG Lion Haiderali Gangji and many others. The main organizer of the institute, IPCC and GLT Multiple District Coordinator Lion Murtaza Dungarwalla had circulated detailed information and application forms to almost all the top leaders and district officers well in advance.
