TANGA CLUB IN ACTION

Tanga, Tanzania: The coastal Lions Club of Tanga sprang into action by conducting the club's Installation Ceremony of new office bearers and immediately after that they performed a World Service Day activity by serving dinner to children of Dianna Orphanage Centre.

The Installation Ceremony was performed by Region Chairman Lion Godfrey Sawe and he also helped, along with Club President Lion Shabbir and others in serving the children from the orphanage centre.

The club's Membership Director Lion Juzar Sachak informed that the installation ceremony was delayed because the incoming President was on his overseas trip.

One of the club's oldest serving member, a veteran Lion Sayyid Mukkadam was well recognized by the incoming President Shabbir for his dedication and  long service as a lion.

The recently installed President of Tanga Lions Club, Lion Shabbir personally served children from Dianna Orphanage Centre with dinner and cold drinks. Region Chairman Lion Godfrey Sawe distributed gifts to the children as part of World Service Day activity in Tanga.
